Activating and Managing Clipboard History on Windows 10 and 11

Clipboard History is a powerful feature introduced in Windows 10 and carried over to Windows 11, designed to significantly enhance productivity. It allows users to keep a track of their copied content, making multitasking and content management easier than ever before.

What is Stored in Clipboard History?

Clipboard History captures a variety of content types including text, HTML, and images smaller than 4 MB. It can store up to 25 entries at a time, with older items making way for new ones. Notably, items are removed upon system restart unless specifically pinned, ensuring privacy and efficiency.

Enabling Clipboard History

To activate this feature

  1. Navigate through Start > Gear icon (Settings) > System > Clipboard.

Accessing Clipboard History
