How to Set an Email Filter for High Spam Scores in Your Control Panel
If you want to automatically discard emails with a high spam score, you can set up a filter in your control panel. Follow these simple steps to create a filter that discards messages with a Spam Score above 8.
Steps to create filters
Step 1: Access Email Filters
- Log in to your control panel.
- Navigate to the Email Filters icon and click on it.
Step 2: Create a New Filter
- Click on Create a New Filter or Add Filter.
Step 3: Configure the Filter
- Description: Enter a name for your filter, such as "High Spam Score Discard".
- Rule:
- Set the rule to Spam Score.
- Choose is above from the condition options.
- Enter 8 as the value.
Note: You can enter any value, just remember to consult this article about spam scoring.
Step 4: Set the Filter Action
- Under Actions, select Discard Message.
Step 5: Save the Filter
- Click Create or Save to apply the filter.
Now, any emails with a Spam Score above 8 will be automatically discarded before they reach your inbox. This helps keep your email clean and spam-free.
